We believe that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. Dental problems that are detected early are usually inexpensive and easier to fix, so being a part of our hygiene program keeps you ahead of the game. Ideally, you should have check-ups, cleanings, and x-rays every six months. Most insurance companies pay 100% for these visits, and even without insurance, our fees still make it affordable.  Appointments are available Monday thru Thursday and although it could take several weeks to schedule you, many times you can be seen within a couple of days if a cancellation occurs. 

Silver and white fillings are done on kids and adults.  Bleaching is also available. 

Crowns (gold or porcelain), bridges, and partial or full dentures are made in-house.  Dr. VanAcker personally makes all of his own dentures from start to finish, a claim few dentists can make. In fact, he has made over 3000 partial or full dentures. 

For patients with bruxism ( teeth grinding-especially at night ), bite guards and bite correction are advised.  Sometimes the chewing muscles and jaw joints experience pain, popping or clicking. Treatments are available for these conditions as well. In severe cases, a referral to a specialist is made. 

To replace missing teeth or to secure dentures, implants are fairly painless and are usually longer lasting and more durable than what Mother Nature gave us. 

Dental extractions, including most wisdom teeth, can be done, only occasionally being referred to an oral surgeon.
